Employee survey

Our specialty is linking the results of the employee survey to interventions that enhance engagement. We work with five intervention domains: the employee, their role, the team, the manager, and the organisation.

This allows us to improve in a targeted manner. By combining quantitative scores with qualitative explanations, we gain insight into both the areas of concern and the experiences of employees. What is the story behind the numbers? This ensures that employees feel heard, which provides a strong foundation for collective improvement.

Why invest in an engaged organizational culture?

Increasing engagement

In an employee survey, we use EngageUP, a method specially developed by us to enhance engagement. EngageUP consists of six steps. We start with a structured survey, after which we arrive at targeted interventions through in-depth analysis. Here, we provide concrete tools and the right support for all levels of the organisation.

Step 1: EngageUP survey

We start with a central kick-off where we explain the process to all employees. After this, the research begins, and employees can fill out the questionnaire online (anonymously). Based on the results, we conduct the EngageUP analysis, which consists of a qualitative and a quantitative part. This analysis can be specified by department and/or team.

Step 2: Outcome workshop

During a workshop, we discuss the outcomes of the research. This is always done together with the management and the HR department. We prefer to discuss the outcomes with the various departments and teams as well, which creates direct involvement in the results and ownership of the steps to be taken towards improvement.

Step 3: Objectives and action plan

Together we identify the main areas of focus, which we document in an “agreement document.” Based on this, we create concrete plans for each intervention domain. The intervention domain determines with whom from the organization we will address this.

Step 4: Implementation

Based on the action plans, you can start working on your own. Our role here is to monitor whether the actions taken lead to the desired effect. We provide effective support; with our knowledge and experience, we know precisely what is needed to increase engagement. We do this in the form of training, coaching, and consulting.

Step 5: Evaluation and adjustment

After a few months, we jointly determine to what extent the path to improvement has been initiated. We look together at where there might be a “gap” between ambitions and reality. In this way, we determine what upgrade is needed. For this, our EngageUP Method offers a comprehensive toolbox of proven effective working methods and interventions.

Step 6: Realization and success

The final step is to achieve the objectives and celebrate the success. A boost for engagement!

Preparation

Setting up the employee survey

Before we start a survey, we first have a conversation with you about the purpose of the research and which themes are important. Based on this, we determine the final content of the questionnaire, the approach, the timeline, and the promotion of the employee survey.

Depending on your needs, we can always put together a suitable package:

Tailored survey

  • Choice of development aspects
  • Add your own questions
  • Add your own metadata
  • Include organizational structure

Analysis at the desired depth level

  • Quantitative (Standard)
  • Qualitative by team (Additional package)

Workshops by desired organizational unit
